So my baby has been kicking me for a while now. I don't want this to come off in a bad way, but I was wondering: Does getting kicked/feeling movement feel good to everyone? I am a little neurotic about things that happen to my body, and am acutely aware of everything. I really hate to admit it, but feeling my baby move inside of me kind of... grosses me out..? Maybe that is too strong of a phrase. But it is a little on the creepy side to me.
So, do you get used to it? Or does it always feel the same, and if you don't like it in the beginning, you will continue to not like it?
And don't get me wrong. I love being pregnant, and I actually love feeling the baby move. I just cringe every time. I guess since it has fingernails, I'm scared it's going to claw at me or something gruesome like that.. ![]()
Re: Do you liked being kicked?
i actually enjoy them-right now they are little-just wait until your entire stomach "waves". that is when the movement gets insane and you feel like an alien is gonna come out. right now i am trying to figure out what is a hiccup, what is a kick, punch or somersault. i couldn't ever tell with my dd and this time i want to see if i can.
the movements reassure me that all is well. as far as baby clawing at you-they are not strong nails and remember they have to go through a lot of "stuff" to reach you!!!
Oh yeah, looking forward to that. I'm not so good at going through all these changes so quickly.
Personally, I love it! I wish the baby would kick more! Sometimes the movements are weird, but I still love it.
But you shouldn't feel bad for not enjoying it sometimes. Everyone is different and it doesn't make you a better person if you love every minute of being pregnant. It certainly isn't all roses!
