where do you go for portaits?

I had been going to Sears but they tend to get very expensive and they got rid of all of their props.  The photographers also always do the same poses/shots.

I would love to use a professional photographer but I am a little late in scheduling, we have to do it tomorrow morning.  Anyway, I was looking at Target but wanted to hear everyone else's experiences and suggestions.
