1st Trimester

First day on 1st Tri

Hello all today is my first day here.  I have been hanging out in the 12-24 month board.  But now that I am expecting number two, I thought I should introduce myself.  I am currently the mom of a 18month darling little girl, and am now 4 weeks pregnant.  I am very excited, but I think I am more nervous abnout #2.  Anyone other 2nd time moms feeling this way?

Re: First day on 1st Tri

  • Hi!  My first day on 1st Tri too.  I'm nervous but only because it's been 6 years since I was pg the last time.  I'm sure I'll catch up quickly but it's amazing how much things have changed in that time.

  • My first day on here too- I just lurked on the boards with my first one but decided to introduce myself with #2.  I'm a little nervous this go around- I had things so easy with my first one so I'm afraid I'm in for it this time

    Nice to meet you!

  • I am pg with #2 also, and am very nevous about adding a 2nd. We wanted this baby, and tried for it, but now that DD is going through her "terrible twos" I keep thinking " how difficult is this going to be with another one????" Plus working full time and school aaahhh!! But, we'll make it work!! Good luck to you all.
  • Well, as you can see, I have a 10 month old - but I didnt experience this whole pregnancy thing, so although this is #2 for me - it is quite different and therefore very nervewracking!
  • congratulations and welcome back!

sorry, i am on pg #1, so i can only relate to first time nerves. Smile

  • I am wondering just how hard the next 9 months are going to be...Tonight splitting headache (DD refused nap at daycare) therfore has not stopped screaming.  This pregnancy was very much planned and very excited but WOW.  I am very nervous, I thought this was a great plan  (age differnce, timing) but like I said WOW.  I am very nervous.  Not to mention I watched way too much Discovery Health while on maternity leave with DD
