Wakes up from nap crying = not enough sleep, not ready to wake up
Wakes up from nap playing/talking = enough sleep, ready to be up
He's been in there for 2.5 hours now. He woke up screaming twice and I left him and sure enough he went back to sleep (now, that doesn't always happen, but...). He just woke up again but he's rolling around, singing, and playing with his pacis. Now's when I go and get him.
What do you think? Do you agree? Don't you wish they could always go back to sleep when you know they need to?
Re: Do you find this to be true?
Yup. Same thing with my Benjamin.
Same here. She'll be super crabby and clingy if she won't go back to sleep.
99% of the time, barring sickness, that is true for Caleb.
If he's cranky, he's not ready to be awake.
