QOTD: Has your appetite changed since entering 2nd Tri?
Me: I am not as nauseous, so I am hungrier. I am also starting to want smaller meals throughout the day... less heartburn that way.
Re: First in '10 Monday Check In
I feel like my appetite is a rollercoaster! Some days all I can think about is food some days I am not so hungry!
We found out were having a boy! Please add me to team blue!
Yes -- I got into the mentality that I could eat what I wanted...and now I'm up a total of 15lbs
I wasn't necessarily eating more, but I certainly wasn't making good food choices. Today I'm back on track and I'm tracking what I put into my mouth on my Weight Watchers.com program. I'm not "dieting", I'm just using it as a visual tool to see what I've been eating, as well as keeping track of calories to make sure I'm not overdoing it.
We found out that we are Team Blue on Friday!
My hubby had a 3 day weekend so we went fishing and just hung out together watching movies. Was nice since he has been working so much.
I find that I cant eat as much during one sitting so I am eating more smaller meals throughout the day as well! At least now everything I eat stays in there!
Oh my gosh -- this! I've had to make sure I have veggies, fruit & nuts on hand at all times!
It looks like I'll be getting an u/s hopefully this week, the m/w thinks it *might* be twins.
QOTD: I've definitely been eating more especially now that I don't have m/s every night.
Please add us to Team Blue! Found out Friday.
I was feeling good, and was brave enough to stop taking Zofran this weekend. I felt great Sat and Sun. Today was Day 3, without it, and I threw up my lunch before I finished it....Grrr I thought that would be over by now....
QOTD: Not much of a change here, though I am able to eat more...
I LOVE MY THREE KIDS!

Feeling well and am very grateful for the dropping temperatures here in NY!
My appetite hasn't changed all that much in 2nd Tri, just happy to be rid of most of the food aversions I was having. I try to eat healthy and not to splurge too often but, am also enjoying not having to monitor my weight as I did pre-pregnancy (keeping my weight consistent was a struggle).
big brothers 12.2009 and 02.2012
This is how I am! Some days I am ravenous. Others, I don't even realize it is time to eat. I wonder how 3rd tri is going to be!
QOTD: My "normal" pattern is to eat lunch and then a late dinner (pre-pregnancy), so it's been tough to remind myself to eat smaller/more frequent meals. Heartburn has been a biotch. My appetite is kind of weird--I feel hungry a lot, but in a different way from pre-pregnancy (more of an empty feeling).
I had pretty bad m/s during the 1st tri. Now that I'm in 2nd tri and the m/s is almost completely gone, my appetite has obviously changed but still no where near how it was before I was pg. Before I was pg I LOVED to eat!! Now I just eat because I have to. Sometimes food sounds good and sometimes its just eh, okay.
And I get full really fast.
I have been incredibly sick since Tuesday last week. I somehow ended up with a chest infection. I ended up in emerg. on Wednesday 'cause I couldn't breath. I'm slowly starting to recover but it's not happening fast enough.
QOTD: Has your appetite changed since entering 2nd Tri?
Not really. Sure there are days where I am ravenous, but that happened in the first tri for me too. I'm down about 5 lbs still. Most days it's takes a lot for me to fill up on all my daily nutrients etc. as I'm just not that hungry.
OMG! Are you excited? Nervous? Do YOU think that it is twins?
We are team green-staying there! Ultrasound was this morning and we made the choice to stay.
i am hungry all the time still. need a second breakfast typically about an hour after i eat my first one!
sweets too now-like brownies, candy etc. with starting back to work at school for the fall i am trying to make sure that i have enough things to take for all my snacking.
I am constantly hungry. I wouldn't necessarily call it a change, but most days now (certainly not all
) I can keep it down.
I actually told my MIL at about 10 weeks that I had a "feeling" it was twins. But we never heard a 2nd HB when listening with the doppler (that we know of)
So then I thought I was just wrong. So now I'm not sure what to think!
We would be excited and nervous!

You can add me to Team Blue. I am still in shock...but to type it here, makes it more real.
As for diet I have been eating several small meals as I tend to get full faster now.
Now I am just trying to adjust my thinking to boy things....
Hello! I tried to add myself to Team Blue last week, but I don't think I was ever counted.
My appetite is still not as strong as it was pre-pregnancy, but it is finally starting to pick up a little more to where I finally feel better because I am eating more.
QOTD: Has your appetite changed since entering 2nd Tri?
Nope, not really. I wasn't really had morning sickness to being with. It was more motion lol. I am hungrier though...
It comes and goes for me. Somedays I eat constantly and other days are just normal.
QOTD: My appetite continues to change.
1st tri, I ate snacks every hour or two, but usually not even as big as a small meal. I had to keep my stomach at a not-empty-but-not-full state to limit the nausea.
Beginning of 2nd tri, I was eating frequent small meals. I had no more nausea, but I couldn't eat much at once.
Now, I'm eating more normal sized meals for me (at a restaurant that means about half portions - I've never been able to eat much more than that at once), and still have snacks throughout the day.
QOTD: It's changed for the good mostly - I can't eat too much red meat anymore, which is fine, but the nausea is gone and my appetite is back with a vengeance. I have to keep snacks in my purse or else I get cranky!
I need to be added to Team Blue, please!
Mine hasn't changed much. I still have an aversion to chicken but I have noticed in the past week or so I've been craving more healthy food - so that's definitely better!
I had another dr.'s appointment this morning and Dr. said she is 90% sure we are having a girl. We saw three lines but no vajjay the cord was right in the way.
I find I cant eat as much as one time so samll meals all the time.
Docs. appt tomorrow, monthly check up stuff. I hope I actually gained some weight so they don't yell at me.
QOTD: I have noticed I eat smaller meals but some times not as healthy as they should be. Trying to eat more apples and oranges.
