NBR: Freezer Burn

Lately, I've noticed my meat stash has a lot of freezer burn. The settings have not changed. I use the same bags as always. I used to vacuum seal everything but now I can not find the bags for it.

What do you do/use to avoid freezer burn?

    i put it in ziplock bags, and then wrap aluminum foil over it- and the slap the date on the outside with a sticker. haven't had a problem yet and we have a deep freezer full of meats

    I use freezer bags.  I like the Hefty ones with the sliders, but Ziploc or even Target brand work too.  I just try to make sure I get all the air out.
