I just asked DH what he wanted to eat for dinner, and he responded "worms".
Yeah. Not so helpful.
What should I make? We don't eat seafood, but our freezer is stocked with chicken, ground beef, pork, and steak. I've got salad supplies, fresh broccoli, and a bunch of white potatoes too.
A meal that will have leftovers would be FANTASTIC, so that DH and I don't have the same conversation tomorrow.

Well, I'm making pasta e fagioli tonight, but I don't know if you have all of the ingredients for it.

It is supposed to make A LOT of food.
Anything from that blog is fantastic, though. You could try out the spicy broccoli pasta, black bean enchiladas, sausage and spinach stuffed shells (but use beef instead), or make the baked potato and broccoli soup. I've been eyeing that one up.

Pepper Steak with Rice
Or Grill the chicken and make this as a side:
Creamy Potatoes Au Gratin - really tasty, made it last night.
You could cook the chicken or steak, have some of it tonight with the broccoli, and use the leftovers another night to make grilled chicken or steak salad? Maybe make a potato salad?
You're lucky. I'm scrounging for dinner right now, and know I'll have to go to the store for something once ds wakes up from his nap.
Thanks ladies! Now I have too many choices!
Anyone have an idea for something that I can make that will look like worms (just for DH)? I should make something awesome for DS and myself, but give him a plate of that instead.

mmm... make dirt pudding for dessert & put gummie worms in it
can i come over if you do that?
What's for Dinner?
I make a mexican chicken that's really good. Make a stuffing with tomatoes, red onion, peppers of any variety, garlic, and the zest and juice of one lime (really anything you want).
crush some tortilla chips and add a packet of taco seasoning to them.
Dredge the chicken in egg and then the tortilla chips.
Lay the chicken in a baking dish, stuff it with the stuffing you've made, dollop of sour cream and some shredded cheese. Roll or simply fold the chicken over.
Bake it at 350 for fourty min, put some more cheese on it and bake it ten more minutes.
It's really good. I'm having left overs as we speak.
SFL.... these sound yummy!
Mmm. Dirt pudding.
Too bad that DS is still sleeping and it's too late to go to the store. It would take an hour just to get there and back with the way afternoon traffic is around here...
