Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Phil & Ted Owners

Today is my day for stroller research :) I'm not pg with # 2 or anything, but I figured I might as well plan ahead and consider the P&T since I desperately need a new full-size stroller. I think it looks wonderful, my cousin has one and loves it, but my mom is always complaining about it and the one kid riding underneath, etc.

What do you think? Likes, dislikes? Would you buy it again?

Re: Phil & Ted Owners

  • I just sold mine. I had heard they were better for kids of different ages and didn't listen to that - and it is SO true because my girls didn't really like it, and neither did I. I had the Vibe and found it very difficult to push/steer, and using the doubles seat takes up the entire storage basket. If I could buy again, I'd get the Sport instead of the Vibe. I thought getting the Vibe would be best since it is the only one that folds with the doubles seat, but it takes just as much time as taking the seat off.

  • Also there are a few more single/doubles on the market now - like this one from Uppa Baby

  • I have the sport and really like it. But I think if I had to do it again and was going to spend the $$ I would get the Uppa baby instead.

We are thinking of #2 soon though so I think it will be handy then. My neighbors have Phill and Ted as well and have kids about 2.5 years apart and it worked well for them.

It does work well on dirt trails, city sidewalks, etc...I think it's fairly easy to push. It's not the most compact thing to pack but it fits in the back of our car fine.

    I would recommend it.

  • I have the Sport and I use it as my jogger. I love it. I got it over the BOB because it was smaller and it had the doubles feature just in case I ever needed it.
