What is with all these baby checklists? Activity, sleep, feeding, poop, pee....am I really supposed to track all this stuff or is it just for daycare? My house isnt big enough for all this paperwork.
lol I have all the ones from the bump PLUS about 20 others that I've made. I'm kind of anal retentive about making lists (but obviously not finishing them)...lol
Feeding, poop/pee is something your pediatrician will want to see.
This. And you won't have to do it forever. You'll get so used to your routine eventually that you won't need to write it down. But each ped. appointment they will ask how many feedings, how many wet diaps and how many poos a day.
With DD, we charted her feeding but never her wet/dirty diapers. We did this for maybe the first month or so that she was home. These are definitely things that you'll need to pay attention to, but charting it is up to you (IMO). If you start to notice an issue then I'd definitely be keeping record of it, but if everything is going as normal then I wouldn't worry about it so much.
