I write 2 checks a week, one to the babysitter and the other for the collection basket at church. Everything else is done electronically. Once in a great while, I won't have my debit card with me at the grocery store (I either gave it to DH or left it in a pants pocket) so I will have to write a check. When this happens, I find myself apologizing profusely to those around me for having to write a check and take up everyone's time.
Do you use checks?
Re: s/o how often do you use checks?
I have to write out a check each week for daycare. I also write out a check each month to church for collection. And then there's random checks that get written out from time to time. For example, we had to write out a check last month to the tree trimmers when they cut down a dead tree in our front yard. I don't even carry checks in my purse. They stay at home in my desk.
1 or 2 a month, if that. All of our regular bills are paid online and we use our debit card for everything else. I don't even know where our checkbook is....
