Twin mom's come in.

Anyone find out later on that they were having twins.

We are using a m/w planning a homebirth so we haven't had an U/S yet.

But I'm measuring about 4 weeks ahead (by fundal height, which I know is subjective) so I may end up getting an U/S in 2 weeks just to check to see if there is 1 or 2.

 Anyone find out later on?

    Me.  :)  

    We just found last week @ our 18 week ultrasound. I was seeing a group of midwives (that deliver at a University hospital), and hadn't had any ultrasounds at that point.  Talk about a SHOCK!  We're still working through all the emotions and are scared but super-excited at the same time. Good luck at your ultrasound... I think it's a blessing either way. :)

    I am a twin!  My mom had this happen.  She was the only one that thought maybe she was going to have twin up until the last month or so.  Then the doctor and midwife were like...maybe you're pregnant with twins!

    I found out pretty early (at 8 weeks) with an ultrasound that I'm expecting twins. I started showing around 12 weeks and at 16 weeks, look like I'm about 22-24 weeks. If you do find out it's twins, join us on the Multiples board! and pick up Dr. Luke's book on Expecting Twins, Triplets, and Quads.
