too soon to POAS?

So we're TTC and it's possible that I could be prego but I've only had AF once (about three weeks ago) since having our son. I don't have the patience to wait and see if I miss a period, especially because I have no idea if my cycle will return to normal (I was like clockwork before) ... and I'm feeling extremely nauseous plus pre-menstral (this happened when I was PG before and is not normal AF behavior for me, though everything is different now) ... so when do you think I can POAS?

 Thanks!!

Re: too soon to POAS?

  • At exactly 3 weeks after your period, if you ovulated on day 14, you'd need to wait at least 3 days, but really, the longer you wait the more accurate your result will be.

HPT Accuracy Results Percentages: (Based on a 25mIU sensitive test)
    10 dpo : 35%
    11 dpo : 51%
    12 dpo : 62%
    13 dpo : 68%
    14 dpo : 74%
    15 dpo : 80%
    16 dpo : 88%
    17 dpo : 92%

  • I'm kinda sorta in the same boat.  I've had about 4 periods now, but also used to be clockwork and now my cycle is all over the place.  I am expecting some cheapy tests in the mail today and am damn sure gonna test just in case!!  I am on CD 29, so I figure wth right?? :)

    GL to you!!!!!

  • Thanks, ladies! I may be overreacting and just have the flu -? I've gotten sick twice in the last 3 hours ... real fun at work. I never had any morning sickness before and hope this goes away soon. I'll probably POAS to be sure, though!
