I went to the doc Monday and told him that I hadn't been feeling her move as much as usual. I was 38 weeeks and 3 days. He sent me to L&D for tests. The baby was practicing her breathing and her little heart was beating, but no movement at all. They admitted me. She scored a 4 out of 8 on that test. The next morning she still wouldn't move and they told me most of my fluid was gone so she scored a 2 out of 8. I was so scared. They began inducing me. I had cervadil for 24 hours and the contractions started about 12 hours into that. They gave me pitocin after 24 hours of the cervadil and OMG the contractions were horrible!!! The whole time I was on the monitors andthey kept telling me that she looked great, but they still werent sure why she wouldn't move. I made it to 2 cm and had an epidural b/c I was screaming with pain. It is a miracle and I highly recommend it. They increaded the pitocin, and broke my water. There was meconium in the fluid. Her heart rate was starting to drop with the contractions and they took me for a c-section. I was so scared, but I didn't feel a thing, and it went very quickly. Hearing her cry was amazing. She came out beautiful and perfect. She weighed 7lbs, 14ozs. 21 and a half incles long. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. They still arent sure what happened, why she wouldn't move. She scored a 9/9 on her apgars. I came home today. She was born Wendesday night at 9:58 pm. She is really my perfect little angel.. please watch your baby's movement. I am so glad I said something to my doc that day. Labor dust to all of you who are getting close!!! I will post pics soon.

Congratulations!!
Little did you know you would be an augmommy2be, haha
Congratulations!
Well, she wasn't a very active baby to begin with, but she would always move after I ate. Last Monday, when I went to the doctor, I had eaten twice and had not felt much at all. My appointment was at 3 and I mentioned it to the OB. Her heartbeat was great, but he sent me for tests anyway. Just monitor when you usually feel your LO. If it goes more than a day, I would get it checked. Better safe. I wish you the best. Motherhood is the most amazing thing ever.
