So work has become over whelming and I have yet to update..sorry girls! Does anyone want to take over? I have a feeling as I get more and more pregnant I'm not going to be very good at doing updates...if it doesn't bother you guys that the updates get so far behind I can keep doing questions...let me know!

No video taping here. That's just not something that appeals to me. I don't mind still shots with the camera right after he is born but the actual experience doesn't need recorded for me.

No, I don't like being video taped... and I would not watch a tape of the birth if I had one. I'll remember from memory and pictures.

We won't be videotaping the delivery either. DH or my mom will hopefully take some pictures once LO is out and cleaned up.

I am really looking forward to my appt today and finally knowing if there has been any progress.

we will be videoing throughout labor... if time allows... but not the entire process... also no money shots-I want DH to be "there" and not behind a camera..

No video here. We'll stick with photos. At least I dont think so. We havent really talked about it. I guess we might want some video of her once she's out.

Absolutely not! There will be no twat cam for me. Photos will capture the LO's first moments but I don't think video of me screaming profanity will serve as a treasured memento of the day.

I had my baby girl on August 26th. She is beautiful. Her name is Ava Elizabeth and she is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Motherhood is amazing.

I'm having a c-section, so no. But if I weren't...ewwwww. Sorry. I wouldn't ever care to watch that, and I don't know who else would. However - our hospital won't let you video anyway. I have to imagine that is the practice at most hospitals due to all of the malpractice BS. I guess if you were at a birthing center, or obviously at home, though, it would be allowed.

No, not the acutal birth, maybe some parts of labor. We bought the camara for the baby but I don't need to be reminded of how painful it all was since I will try to go natural. I just want some video memories of my precious little girl once she gets here and is all brand new!!

No one will be videotaping the delivery. DH will have our digital camera for pictures (which also takes short videos) but he is not taking any pictures that include my vagina.

No, but mainly because it seems like there might be a lot going on then plus if everything goes well, I will be squatting on a bed pretty much naked...no one wants to see that Cool

NO WAY. I do not need to see it up close and I want my SO to be focused on helping me not looking through a camera lens. Pics after he's born are fine...and I don't even care what I look like.

Nope! I am waaaaay to private to have this event recorded or photographed. And I am a photographer! : ) With my daughter, my husband took lots of notes of the times and progress (i.e. 7:00 - 3cm dilated). That was a great record to have (the details get really blurry after all the excitement and sleep loss). We're planning to do that again for recordkeeping.

My best friend's dad videotaped the birth of her son and she showed me the video. I got lightheaded and nearly fainted watching it - and I've had a baby (without pain meds!). Just way TMI for me...

there is no way anyone is video taping the birth! i didin't want any of that from the start. not even digital camera before he is out. i do realize that my DH will be taking picts and video taping as soon as we are both changed. (we are having a watter birth at the hospital). since we are doing the water birth, there will be no medication....and who knows how i am going to react. besides i don't think that is something that i will want to watch. just my preference...i love watching all the tlc, baby stories:) so i'm glad that a lot of people don't mind the video cameras at all!
