DH: "Lets have another one!"

DH is sooo not helping my resolve to wait one more year until we TTC #2. This weekend he announced that he wanted another one...now. Need I remind him that his job is still in jeapardy due to the economy?! I'm all for babies, but I need to PLAN.

What made him come to this decision? Did a friend of his recently have a baby or something??

Usually with my DH, he sees something someone else has and then says he wants it.?

DD was being super cute and he was loving on her, and I think just in "daddy happy" land...

I'm so jealous. I wish my DH would say those words (although now is definitely not the time for us since he's still out of work).

DH has been saying "boy, boy, boy" for about a month now. I was using the excuse of not being in a good place in our finances, but since we sold our car, and no longer have a car payment, and have been able to catch up on old bills, I really don't have an excuse anymore, other than I'm just not ready...but it might be too late.

We both keep changing our minds on when to start trying for #2. On good days we are both ready now. Then DS has a rough day and we decide waiting a little longer would be best!

We really do need to sit down and have a serious talk to create a little timeline.

MH and I both agree that we need to wait, but at times he seems to hint that he really wants another one sooner. I keep ttelling him that we really can;t and need to stick to it, he tells me that he is just checking to see that I am on board, but I think otherwise.
