8/2012 Surprise unmedicated BFP!! Due May 8, 2013
My OB visit on Wednesday. My Dr's going to decide whether or not I can continue working. My BP has been border-line high my last two visits and I've been measuring 2-3 cm ahead at every appt. I'm kind of torn about it, I don't want to stop working this early because I want as much time with LO after she's born, but at the same time I don't think I'll be that sad if she tells me I'm done working. I'm just so exhausted all the time I think it would be good for me to get some good rest and have some time to myself before LO arrives.

The highlight of my week is that I figured out I can get some relief from the swelling in my hands by holding the plastic blue "ice" packs in our freezer for about 5 minutes at a time. It's like a little slice of heaven. I'm also experimenting with wrapping them in a towel and figuring out a way to lay them on the tops of my feet.
I just read this answer- I need to do something more fun this week.
DD has her "First Bus Ride" (it's a practice run, where they show the kids how to handle the bus).... So exciting... but so sad! lol My little girl is growing up!
My 39 week appt on Thursday.......hopefully I'll go before then. Grr Dr for telling me I'd be going early. Now I'm waiting for it, I wish he had told me I'd be over due at this point.
Maybe DH and I will go to the fair this week, mmmm fried dough

Cheap bandannas work well, or cut an old towel into 2 long strips. I put on a thin pair of socks, then add the ice pack, wrap with bandanna/towel strip, safety pin, and prop them up! It feels soooo good!
I have nothing exciting this week except a check-up. With the full moon coinciding with the first UGA game of the season this weekend, I'll be spending my week making comments to DH about how he won't get to watch the game since I'll be having a baby. Keeping him on his toes has good entertainment value

A final U/S on Tuesday before my appointment - and finding out if I'm getting induced that afternoon or on Friday - or if I'll go into labor by then.
