Just to preface this, I should say that DH and I don't go out and buy expensive items. I think the last expensive thing we bought was a furnace/AC and that was only because our furnace was rusted (would've been red-tagged) and we live in MN so we can't get by without one!
Well, awhile back, I added a video camera to our baby registry so we could tape our little man after he arrives. All the cameras were extremely expensive, so I essentially wrote it off like we wouldn't end up getting one, but I did mention to DH how important it was to me to be able to tape memories with our son after he is born.
As a surprise, DH went out and found a really nice video camera that had only been used about twice and bought it! I'm so excited and I just can't believe he actually did that! It was so sweet of him!!!!!

awww, that was sweet of him to 1--remember your wanting this (sometimes its like I don't even say anything it seems..) 2--that he went to the effort of finding/buying it to be able to make you happy and capture all those memories...
