Alright so I can't help but love the name Calvin for a boy. DH isn't seeing or liking it (grr). No other name sounds good to me, am I crazy? DH thinks the name is "weird"

It's definitely not a weird name. I wouldn't name my son Calvin, but that's just because I associate the name with a client I used to work with (I really need to work on this name-association thing)!
If your DH doesn't like it, see how he feels about picking the middle name. If he really really hates the name, maybe use Calvin as the middle name?
I would ask him to keep it open as an option, explore other names and maybe you can work it in somehow.
I had my heart set on a baby girl name in January. I heard it, fell in love and that was it. lol We weren't trying, and ended up being surprised by a positive pregnancy test in April. At that point I was determined I was having a girl and her name would be Emma. He hated it. Well without me having to force it upon him...he decided he loved it too a few months later we decided on Emma Good luck!

Grrrr to DH! Has the man never read any Calvin and Hobbes? That's almost reason enough to name your kid Calvin.
I agree with PP, though, who says to let it simmer for a while and maybe he will come around.
