Crib Reviews

I'm not finding Consumer Repots to be very extensive or helpful in this department. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find more information/reviews on cribs? I particularly like the cribs at JC Penney, but want to check into safety, etc.

I would keep an eye on the recalls to get an idea of which brands you may want to stay away from. I know that's a backwards way of doing it, but it can be helpful. That's a bummer that Consumer Reports wasn't helpful- I always rely on them for tips. You could look into reviews from some of the parenting magazines as well, but I'm not sure what they do to look into safety. Maybe someone else out there has seen some helpful web sites/resources.
