Hi Ladies. What is the usual protocol for FET's? What drugs, how many u/s, blood draws etc. I have just found out that a grant I applied for covers one fresh ivf and FET's but i have to pay for u/s, drugs and labs for the FET only.
Just wondering how much it's going to cost.
Thanks~

Re: FET protocol
I go in on CD 3, then I start my Estrace.
I go in about a week later for another U/S and then a few days before my ET, I start the PIO.
I think my ET was like cd 21.
I only had 2 u/s total when i did my FET.
There are a lot of different protocols for FET's.
For mine, I started Estrace 2x day on CD1, went for an ultrasound on CD5, bloodwork and another ultrasound on CD10. After that, depending on the lining and when we decide to transfer I'll either, a)stay on Estrace 2x day, b) increase Estrace to 3x day or c) continue Estrace and begin Progesterone.
The FET office visits are $230. My insurance picks up some of the b/w so it ends up being about $30.

Mine had me on BCP's for 3 weeks, then my baseline u/s 2 days after last bcp. Vivelle (estrogen) patches the week after and then 1 more u/s the week of the transfer. b/w will depend on what they see with the u/s but none scheduled.
