JC Penney Maternity

I saw a few of you recommend JC Penny's Duo Maternity pants for work...I looked online, but saw that they don't have a maternity sizing chart. How did the sizing run for you?

So far, I've ordered maternity pants from Gap in size 12 that fit fine, some from Motherhood in both L and XL, and I even have a few in M/L from some random brand that I picked up at a consignment shop. I just have no idea what size I wear!

Man, I wish they had an actual maternity section in the store!

Re: JC Penney Maternity

  • The JC penney here has a maternity section. It's a stand alone JC Penney though, I'm not sure about the ones in the mall.

  • I am a 12-14 and a large in motherhood and I have larges from jc penny too (I just unpacked everything from dd yesterday)
  • They had a maternity section in the store when I went... but pre-pregnancy I was 175 pounds in a size 12 (ish depending on the brand between 12 and 14 basically)... and I fit in their larges... they are a little big but I wanted room to grow in them so they would last all of my pregnancy (I don't have the money to be running out all the time to buy maternity clothes--heck, I've spent I think $50 on clothes in the past year or so)... but I bought mine at the actual store and they had a big sale going on when I was there with like an extra $25 off orders over $100 or something like that. Did you actually check in your store?
  • I went to one in the mall and there's a maternity section.  It's pretty small, but for us it's right next to the "Women"'s section.  I'm usually between a 10-12 and I ended up buying 2 mediums and a large.  For me it totally depended on the style of the pants.
