My HORRIBLE cold is FINALLY starting to subside and our B2B IUI's are done.....let the 2ww begin (fortunately my cycle is only 23-25 days long....so a little less than that for me).
Results over the 2 days.......Only 1.7million (as my post yesterday stated) and 1.1million post-wash swimmers (today).....but I am keeping positive. Again today, my husband saw the paper with the numbers and was NOT happy with his result......and I reassured him that it ONLY TAKES ONE, AND that people have gotten pregnant on a lot less than that. It's just hard to see those numbers when his 2 SA's were fine and previous post-wash numbers were higher. I keep reminding myself as well that only ONE has to make it. PLEASE let this be the one.
I am TOTALLY trying to remain positive about everything, but also being realistic to the fact that it MIGHT NOT HAPPEN....and what our next steps will be. I really think that we will make that decision after I get my progesterone checked this week and our 2ww is done. It might be another sonohystogram to make sure the fibroids haven't returned and a possible short break for my hubby to get on a supplement of some kind (ie, proxeed, or male fertilaid or something like that), then maybe one more IUI before moving to a specialist. Part of me though......wants to move to an RE and move right to IVF to get things moving. Time will tell. Maybe we won't have to worry about any of the above.
Wow, I had a lot on my mind......didn't plan on posting ALL THAT. Thanks for listening ladies.
Re: B2B IUI complete today......lots more venting than I thought when I started this post......
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Good luck in the 2ww. I am right there with you.
