Please recommend your maternity pants for work!

Ugh, I just got back from trying to buy maternity clothes and it was a very frustrating experience.  I ended up getting two pairs of jeans and a short sleeve sweather from Gap Maternity.  What I really need is nice pants for work and I can't seem to find anything decent.  Any recommendations?

Re: Please recommend your maternity pants for work!

  • I had some good luck at local maternity boutiques. Pricewise they were between motherhood and pea in the pod. I've also heard good things about JCPenney's maternity clothes for work.

  • I got a pair of charcoal grey and a pair of black pants from Motherhood Maternity.  I have worn them each once and like them a lot.

Now if I could only find jeans I like!

  • I agree with the PP... I got about 15 items from Motherhood Maternity and spent less than $400. I got like 6 pairs of work pants and 8 shirts and a cami. The pants are really great and they are soooo comfortable.

  • I live in my work pants from motherhood maternity.  Super comfy!  I dry clean them and they've held up perfectly.

  • My favorites are Duo maternity from JCPenney.  I don't know what they carry in the store, I've ordered mine online since I need tall sizes.

Yes!! lol I love their maternity clothes!

  • I have some from Pea in the Pod and Motherhood.  The quality is better in PintheP, but the Motherhood ones are ok.

Apparently Gap/ON maternity thinks no one works in an office with their selection :(

  • I bought mine from Gap online, but they had a few pairs in the store that were nice too.  The only pair I bought were black, but they also had a grey pin-stripe as well.

I haven't worn them yet (Don't need them, but they do seem very comfortable)

  • I went to Motherhood Maternity and bought a pair of khaki pants and a pair of brown work pants... but the best deal I got was at JCPenney on a pair of black dress pants... they are by far the most comfortable and only cost $17.
  • I got two pair of work dress pants at Kolhs. I LOVE them. I wore one of the pairs 3 days last week!

  • I got a pair of black and a pair of gray dress pants from JCPenny's, DUO Maternity brand, that are really comfortable, and weren't too expensive.

  • I got mine from Gap, but online. I think there is a better selection online. GL!

  • I scored at Motherhood for pants last week- apparently they're just starting to carry Long/Tall sizes in the store, so I was able to get slacks that were not only long enough, but also had side pockets! It seems like most maternity pants don't have pockets, and I have a phone that I have to carry with me when I'm at work and need a pocket for it.

  • I would die without my Motherhood clothes. I got a pair of jeans, a pair of capris that can be unbottoned into pants, three tanks, a night gown, a nice shirt, and a dress for under $250, and I wear them all the time. All I did was tell the girl I don't have anything, and she just stocked the dressing room full of different options and I tried them all on a found what I liked. A lot of they're clothes are designed to fit you throughout your pregnancy, so that helps A LOT!
  • I have bought work pants from A Pea in the Pod and they fit great and are awesome quality.  Also found some at Kohl's that will work.  The ones I tried on from Motherhood were all too big in the initial try on so I was too worried about them stretching out!

  • I got khakis & jeans from Motherhood Maternity, but I've also got black pants from Target.  They are probably not considered "maternity" pants, but they are the pants with the stretchy panel anyway.  The gaucho style.  They will stretch with me for a while!  I have a larger pair from Motherhood Maternity, too that I will be able to use when these don't make it anymore.

  • I've gotten several from Duo at JC Penney's and like them better than Motherhood Maternity.
  • I actually found some nice dress pants at Sears on clearance for $9.99!  I didn't even know they sold maternity clothes.  I'm also a big fan of JC Penney's dress clothes.  I got some cute dressy capri pants at Motherhood Maternity on clearance ($16.99) the other day too.  Oh and Old Navy.com too.
  • I found a few good ones in Gap Maternity section in the store.
