We started our first medicated cycle this month and it seems very different than what our women on this board have done.
BCP for 2 weeks
Stop taking BCP today. Next Sunday I take 10 pills of 2.5mg Letrozole. The following Friday I have an u/s. Depending on the u/s, TI on Sunday, Abstain Monday. Tuesday I have another u/s and get my hcg trigger shot and also TI. TI on Wednesday as well. Then in a week they will check my progestrerone.
Has anyone had a similar protocol? I thought most took the Letrozole like clomid and it was daily for 5 days.

According to the paperwork I have, BCP are for ovarian down regulation which prepares the ovaries for the hMG stimulation.
Yes, I take all 10 pills on one day.
I thought this was different than the usually protocols on this board.
I guess we will see what happens in the next few weeks!

I took 2 pills a day for CD4-8 both times...so taking them all at once seems a little weird to me...
plus I thought femara was supposed to leave your body very quickly - so if you took all 10 pills at once, wouldn't it be metabolized and excreted before your follies had time to mature?
the second time I spotted past AF until CD12
This month is after the second round of femara and I am also experiencing post AF spotting
so for me the femara definitely affects my estrogen levels (which it is supposed to) and my lining (which it is not)
