I could use some TTTC expertise....
I just received my CD3 FSH results and it was 7.2. My LH was 3.9. I know the ratio is supposed to be 1:1, and that when LH is higher, its a sign of PCOS. What does it mean when FSH is higher than the LH? I've been TTC for 1 year, 8 months. How bad is this? My doc wasn't there today when the nurse gave me the results....
Re: FSH - Day 3
you want your CD3 FSH to be low (definitely below 10) - this indicates good ovarian reserve (i.e. you will generally respond well to drugs and you have lots of eggs)...
cd 3 LH should be about the same as CD3 FSH or less....if CD3 LH is much higher, that indicates PCOS (but not always - apparently I have PCOS but my CD3 FSH is about 4 and my CD3 LH is about 3)....
