Oooooh my silly DH

We recently washed a load of laundry in the machines in our apartment building.  When we took the load out of the dryer, we found oil stains all over.... and realized that someone (not us) left a tube of Chapstick in the damn dryer.  DH was FURIOUS... and we vowed never to do laundry there again.

He found a "home remedy" to remove these stains online- prespot the spots with Dawn liquid soap & Shout, let it sit for 24 hours and wash.  I am at my mom's today doing laundry, so I did everything first, and then threw in these prespotted items on their own just now.  I literally put a splash of detergent in and let the washer go to work..... all I can say is HOLY S**T is there is a of soap!!!!!  I sat down there watching the machine for about 20 minutes because I was scared to death that it was going to start leaking out and cause a flood!!!!!!

I am about to go check it again, but oh my, this is the last time I let DH do anything laundry related!!!!!!!!!!
