1st Trimester

anyone still having m/s??

I am getting really frustrated because I am now 14.5 weeks and still having some serious m/s.  Anyone else still dealing with this?  I was told it goes away after the 1st trimester?! and am getting discouraged :(

Re: anyone still having m/s??

  • I thankfully (knocking on wood) haven't actually been sick yet, queasy yes but sick no.

My mom however informed me last week she was sick the whole 9 months with me. How lovely.

I really hope you feel better and get some relief soon.

  • I hope you continue to feel well!
  • I am so sorry for you.  I haven't been sick one time.  I hope everything gets better for you.  My sister was sick about half way through her pregnancy.  She took ematrol-spelling?- for it.
  • That's not always true. My mother said when she was preg with me she had m/s for 9 months. God bless her! I hope this isn't you though. Mine stopped at 11 weeks only to get a two week cold. Yea! Huh?
  • I have not been sick yet this time - hoping to skip it, but not expecting to...it didn't hit me with DD until I was 6 weeks and it was horrible ALL DAY puking like crazy :( I will tell you with her for me it got much better around 11-12 weeks though still there, but by 17 weeks I could safely say it was gone. I still had major aversions that could make me queasy the rest of the pg (like raw chicken) or any chicken really... but the puking was gone by week 17. Good luck - it is NO FUN but all I can say is it was soooooo worth it and if I have to go through it again with this baby so be it - I know how wonderful the prize on the other side will be :)
  • i had it till 16 1/2 weeks and then it disappeared. weeks 10-15 were probably the worst for m/s. Hopefully yours will end soon! I heard most does end around 16 weeks! Stay positive =] feel better!
  • thank you for the encouragement :)
