anyone conceive on 50mg Clomid?

I was curious if anyone out there has conceived the first time taking 50mg of clomid?

Or, if you were successful with Clomid, how many cycles before success and what dosage?

Re: anyone conceive on 50mg Clomid?

  • I got pregnant twice on 50mg of clomid.  I did IUIs with both cycles though.  My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage.  My second pregnancy resulted in my two beautiful babies.  :)

  • I never had luck conceiving with clomid, but good luck.

You may want to ask this on SAIF, as many of the women who are on here have yet to get PG and if they have, they've m/c.

I think there are quite a few success stories with Clomid on SAIF- hope they have some encouraging words for you.

    Good luck to you!!!!!

  • I got pg with first round of Clomid 50mg which ended in m/c & never got pg the rest of the 4 rounds I took of Clomid at 50mg.
  • I got PG my first round of 100mg clomid + IUI (we never did 50mg, just went straight to 100mg), but I had an early m/c. After that, my body started acting funky on 100mg, so I am now in the 2WW of my first cycle of 50mg. Good luck.

  • a friend of mine is currently pregnant after her first cycle of clomid 50mg...i will find out in less than 2 weeks if it is working for me this time :)

    Good luck!

  • I got pregnant on my 2nd cycle of 50mg along with metformin, trigger shot and booster hcg injections. Good luck!
  • I got pregnant twice with 50 mg clomid - both ended in m/c but it worked for me right away twice (without trigger or IUI) with just timing.  Good luck!
