Zoo--so not TTTC friendly

We had a good day, but it was hard. The Zoo was full of happy families and babies everywhere. We did a Segway tour of our downtown canal. It was an hour and was AWESOME!  And scary. I think when I hit 30, I started to be more afraid of things, like falling. But it was so fun. I had a gift certificate, but they are normally $45. Before I would have said so not worth it, but we spend about an hour and a half on the segways.

It was awesome weather, but I had a hard time and was sad. Not that a baby could go on the segway, but the whole time all I could think of was how my baby should be 5 weeks and how awesome it would have to been pushing him/her in the stroller around the canal and zoo.

so it was a sad day and I got sunburnt:<

    ((hugs)) sorry about the zoo but glad you had fun on the segway. hoping that next summer you've got a baby to take to the zoo!

    I understand... I went to a zoo a few weeks ago and it killed me. I went with my mom and she kept talking about how great it would be to steal my niece for a day next year and take her. :(

    I know the feeling. We went to a local fair on friday and the same thing happened..everyone with there kids all happy..and then there was us..childless. it was torture. I tried looking happy to h but it was difficult.

    Sorry the zoo was sad, but the segeway tour sounds fun.  I wish I had some words of wisdom for you Sad.  I am sending you {{hugs}} and virtual aloe vera.

    My mom and I took my nephew to the zoo a few weeks ago - simply torturous! I even made up my mind beforehand that it was going to be a blast, focus on the nephew, distract myself by taking pictures....not so much.
