Something really dumb is bothering me

On Facebook. I normally don't know how many friends I have on there, but I've been joking with DH for the last few weeks that I was forever going to be at 195. Well..yesterday I noticed I was down to 194! So I got defriended by someone, and I canNot figure out who the heck it is, lol. I thought for sure it was going to be the person I got into it with about Michael Vick returning a couple days ago but nope, he's still on there. I am stumped. And I am unnaturally bothered by it. Stick out tongue I would even guestimate that 90% of the people I have on there I talk to and don't just have to have.....Lord I need to get over this.

Oh, but someone else friended me last night so I'm back to 195! I am soooo stuck on that number, hahaha.

DX PCOS w/IR 01/08.
Currently pg with our 1st after 6.5 yrs of IF (thank you IVF)

    I always try to figure out who defriended me too.  My husband's grandpa joined Facebook and added hubs and I to his list.  One day my friend count went down, and I figured out the DH's grandpa had deleted his Facebook.  I guess he figured a 80-some year old man didn't need to be on that particular site-LOL!  But I was obsessed until I figured it out.

    I probably drive people crazy because I am always adding people (strangers) for games but once you have joined teams you can just delete them.  So I am constantly deleting people.  Hopefully the strangers realize it is game people deleting them.  I can't stand having 200-300 strangers in my friends list once we have joined eachothers teams.

    Haha, yes - I will continue to think that it is just an account deletion. I totally like having a smaller, more managable number of people on there. I don't need everyone and their mother to know what I'm doing. But it is STILL going to drive me nuts, heehee. DH thinks I'm crazy. Probably true, but i won't let him know I agree.

    I got de-friended a couple of weeks ago too and figured out who the person was even.  I have NO idea why she de-friended me since she was the one who friended me to begin with and I NEVER talk to her - I don't know her really at all.  Weird.  I think FB causes more bad than good sometimes.

    I had a similar experience.  An old classmate of mine friended me on Facebook, and I was a bit surprised because we had not been friends in high school.  I accepted the request and tried to post little comments to her here and there.  She defriended me several months later, and she still has her account.  I'm not sure what that was all about, but I'm trying not to care since we weren't "real" friends in the first place.
