What's PIO?

I know it has something to do with needles b/c I've seen the ouchie mean looking bruises on girlies hips, but what does it stand for?  Glossary doesn't show it.

    I usually start taking progesterone the day of egg transfer and then take it through 1st trimester or until negative beta. There are shots and suppositories. I do the shots in the butt but have heard of some people doing them in the hip. Then after so many weeks my clinic lets you switch from the shots to the suppositories. BUT since I"m doing a FET this time I have to do both the whole time :( The shots are not fun, but some people have no problems with them at all.

    Oh thanks for the explanation!!! I kept reading it but it's hard to show good support if  you don't know what your fellow girlies are going through.  I didn't want to just give generic support :)
