I am having trouble with stress these past few months and I am driving my husband crazy... I have experienced anxiety attacks from stressing over not getting pregnant. It got so bad that I was hating others that were getting pregnant every month someone I knew was getting pregnant except me! They prescribe me Zoloft, but only told me to take it when I needed it not everyday because there have not been many studies on what it will do to women TTC? What are some things everyone is doing to naturally relieve the stress and anxiety?

Re: Trouble with stress/anxiety?
I have started to workout whenever I feel overwhelmed or stressed by IF, so pretty much everyday
. I figure that if I can't get pg when I want then I am going to get healthier so that when I do get pg I will be in the best shape I can be to have my baby.
I also went to counseling weekly for about a year and a half. DH went with me to counseling but we also went individually too. I am a true believer now that counseling really works.
Sorry you are having a hard time. Hopefully you will get pg soon and this will all be a thing of the past.

DS-IUI #1-4 BFN IVF #1 - BFP! It's a boy!!!
double check with your doctor - Zoloft has to be taken every day in order to be effective - it's an anti-depressant that needs time to build up in your system.
I am currently taking Zoloft, prescribed by a psychiatrist and okayed by my RE. I've been told that it can be taken during the 1st and 2nd trimesters, but not the 3rd. It can also be taken while breastfeeding.
Other anxiety-management tips include listening to meditation cd's, yoga, distraction through hobbies.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

big hugs to all of you!
I'm also a huge believer in counseling!! It has done wonders for my own emotional well-being. I'm sorry that you're dealing with intense anxiety; I definitely think it's normal and there's many others who feel the same way. I'm sure it'll be my turn sooner or later.
