Got a Q about Cetrotide..

I am on day 7 of stims (follistim/menopur) I started my shot of cetrotide yesterday.. and I am going back to the RE tomorrow... question is, am I supposed to do the cetrotide again today or is it normally a one time shot? I am getting so confused with all these shots... can anyone help??

    I think Cetrotide is the same as Ganirelix.  Once I started the ganirelix, it was every night not a one time shot.  Does your RE have an after hours number you can call to confirm?

    Yah, I also believe those 2 meds are the same.... My office has a number with an answering service.. I'm sure they can page the on call doc but I feel like an idiot.. I'm 99% sure I take Cetrotide again tonight...

    does the Ganirelix itch for you?? the cetrotide was killin me last night when I took the needle out...

    Yes, the ganirelix gave me a little welt that was really itchy for about 10 minutes but then it would go away.

    gotcha, same for me!

    I was upset that the needle for the cetrotide is longer than the needle for the follistim/menopur.... they just keep getting bigger and bigger

    one med burns.. the other itchs.... oiyy
