sorta friend trying to sell on FB

Im friend with this girl on FB that i used to work with at a daycare. I havent talked to her in over three years and she friended me a while ago and i accepted.

she sent me a message on fb about a buisness that her and her husband have started about eco friendly products and wants me H and I to talk to them about it???

It sounds like they are trying to real me into there products so i get hooked and then sell some myself. how do i decline?

    Ugh, this brings back memories of a good friend from high school pushing every new business on me, from medical magnets to products to who knows what else.  My only advice is to decline now and stick to your guns.  Once you let her in your door it will be harder to decline.  Can you just say 'thanks so much, but we're not interested?  If it affects her being in touch with you, that is her perogative.

    Personally, I would ignore a message like this. I'd just pretend I never saw it. I wouldn't want to engage in a conversation, because then they'd have to opportunity to argue their case.

    Absolutely, tell her you aren't interested.  I understand that with small business you have to knock on a lot of doors to get one person to be interested, but I doubt she thinks you'll drop everything to take part.  I agree with pp that if you show interest however, she will roll you over with a steamroller.
