I feel a little behind on this topic but better late than never. Any recomendations for good doctors in city or North Hills area. Also, did you meet with your doctor before LO was born? What questions did you ask if any?

I have heard a lot of good things about Dr. Hilderbrandt at East Side Peds. I have a client who just had her baby and they are going to him and they love him. In the North Hills area Dr Kovatch at Pediatric Alliance Arcadia division I believe is wonderful. Also Dr William Coppula is terrific I worked with him many years ago at Health America and thought he was great. I've also heard rave reviews about the docs at the Pediatric Alliance Northland office. The Pediatric Alliance group actually has a breastfeeding center that is located at two of their offices and they are staffed by nurses and peds who are also board certified lactation consultants and they can bill insurance so you just have to pay a co-pay to be seen there.
A lot of people like to meet with the doctor before hand. I don't think you have to though. If you are looking to do delayed vax or no-vax or you have other alternative beliefs you probably should meet with them first just so you are on the same page with them when you go in.
I take Olivia to Pediatric Alliance on McKnight Road across from Red Lobster. A lot of mom's recommended this group to me while I was pregnant and I never got the chance to meet the doctors beforehand. They do rounds at Magee, so I told them I wanted Ped Alliance when I came in to deliver. I really like Dr Brian (the son of Dr William), he's very nice and doesnt rush you. But, all the doctors at that office are very nice. They also have a call in hour every morning, so you can call your doctor with any question you might have.
