I read some interesting articles about it saying that it was more effective than oral or suppository progesterone. And it also said that it is safe for women TTC, even those without a diagnosed luteal defect. What do you think? Have you heard anything about this? If it could help and couldn't hurt then I'll probably try. But if you've heard that it might be harmful please let me know. Thanks!
Re: How do you feel about progesterone cream?
i don't really know much about it. is it a synthetic progesterone? i wonder if there are natural ways to increase your own production of progesterone?
i worry that if you supplement your body with it then your body will stop making, or make less, of it on it's own. just a thought.
also i believe it will increase your temp if you are charting and can extend your LP. why do you wanna take it?
My RE believes that vaginal pregesterone gets to the site of action better than oral progesterone. They only use vaginal preparations or the shot for supplementation. They believe that the oral does get into your bloodstream but may not necessarily get down to your ute.
