gave DH a shot in belly

Since I have to give myself the lupron shot this weekend my dear sweet husband let me practice on him last night. I gave him saline shots in the belly so I'd feel more comfortable doing mine alone for the first time.

Way to take one for the team!!

    Wow, I'm impressed! Props to your DH. My H is such a baby, he would never agree to that!

    ha, that's awesome!! I've "offered" to do this many times, but my husband has never agreed. He just says he believes me that the shots are no fun.

    towards the end of my cycle for IVF#1 DH wanted to know what it was like since he watched me doing shots for so long so I gave him an empty lupron needle and he stuck it in his stomach and pulled it out.  I was pretty impressed.

    I let people practice IVs on me (sharing this so you know I'm not a baby) and I think finger sticks are THE most painful thing in the world.

    Dx: MFI, DOR, 9 Fibroids and homozygous MTHFR

    Wow, good for your DH!  Mine said he could handle the 37 or so shots I have had so far this IVF cycle, I do not believe he is really that stoic though! 
    H: 34 dx Azoospermia due to CBAVD from CF

    TTC #1 since 2007. Dx: Unexplained infertility. 4 IUIs in 2008 = BFN. IVF #1 07/09. DD #1 born April 2010 (40w5d).
    TTC #2 since 2011. Dx: Endometriosis and hypothyroidism. 2 FETs in 2012, BFP 6/12 but m/c @ 7 weeks. IVF #2 06/13. DD #2  born March 2014 (40w1d).

    TTC since 8/07 DX - Severe MFI/azoospermia & MTHFR/ TESEs found sperm - 7/08 & 6/09/ 12/08 - IVF#1 - BFN/ 6/09 - IVF #2 - cancelled due to OHSS risk (had retrieval)/ 7/09 - FET #1 - BFN/ 9/09 - FET #2 - BFN/ 11/09 - IVF #3 with new RE cancelled twice - 10/09 & 11/09/ 1/10 - IVF #3 take 3 - BFN/ 4/10 - IVF #4 - first ever BFP on 5/13/10!!! 108 @ 10dp3dt/ 2nd beta 311!/ sono on 5/28/10 said TWINS!!!!     DH: dx azoo 8/3/09 found out DH has CBAVD due to Cystic Fibrosis on 8/18/09
    IVF#1 w/ICSI: start stims 9/4/09, ER/MESA 9/15/09, ET 9/20/09 Transferred 2 GREAT Blasts!

    Baby Boy was born on 5/14/10 at 36w 3d
    (induced due to IUGR, 4 lbs 15 oz but perfectly developed and healthy)
