As long as you don't drink too much of it I bet you'll be fine. They say one coffee a day is ok so the same should go for coke.
Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN. FET #4 BFP after removing bilateral hydrosalpinx and 3 months of lupron depot. Sticky Bun is here!!
I feel ya'. I'm still enjoying my one cup of coffee a day.
TTC #1 w/ endo since Sept 2005. After many losses, a lap, tons of meds and tons of testing and, one failed IVF cycle, we were blown away with a surprise, sticky BFP...it's a girl!!!
i gave up diet coke by accident. We ran out at home, and i wound up not having one for a few weeks. The next time I tried one, it just tasted weird, and now i can't even drink a whole soda.
Diet coke used to be my favorite thing though....

i gave up diet coke for a different reason. most diet sodas have aspartame which is a neurotoxin. if you stick to a can a day you'll be okay. they even say a can a day while pg is okay. but my neuroligist had been begging me for years to quit and i've read the studies. . . but i was litterally adicted. but since i gave it up, i feel tons better, and i actually don't really want it anymore. if it's my only sugar-free option, i'll drink it, but i don't really *enjoy* it....
for soda options at home, I buy pepsi one or waist-watchers because it's made with splenda. they make a diet coke with splenda also, but it tastes way too sweet for my taste. also, vitamin water and sobe life water are made with truvia (stevia) which is also safer for you than aspartame.
I am not at all saying that you should give up your diet coke!!! But if you're curious, google the aspartame thing; there are tons of articles!

I wonder if that's why I don't really like it anymore.

I love diet coke with splenda, but i can't find it anymore around where I live.
i also drink Vitamin Water (the 10 calorie version), but stevia has not been studied with pregnancy, FYI.
