Late 3rd Tri-ers. Who isn't having contrax?

Who in their late 3rd tri is NOT having contrax yet?

I'm showing absolutely no signs of early labor yet, and with the baby measuring at 8lbs+ already, I'm starting to think that she's going to be at least 12lbs by the time she's born. I'm not having contrax, haven't lost my MP, nothing...The closest thing I have to 'progress' is that my cervix is soft and baby is REALLY low. Other than that, I'm still closed, long, and fat as ever. =

Am I alone or are there other ladies that are really close to the end that haven't had any signs yet?

I don't count BH's, so I got nothing. ?0% dilation, 50% effaced, not one contraction. ?It doesn't matter, though. ?You may not get one contraction, til you begin labor.

I am so frustrated and just want to cry when we leave the dr. I'm afraid he's never going to come out. Crying

Oh I know. I'm just a little worried because I know bf and I were both big babies...

And my mother isn't helping by telling me that my LO is going to be payback for being almost 10lbs myself...lol

If it makes you feel any better, I have contractions, have lost my mucus plug twice, and am 3cm & 75% - and I'm STILL fat as ever. It doesn't mean a THING!

I don't even know if I'm considered 3rd tri anymore...is there a 4th tri??? lol

Anyway, I'm 41 weeks and still don't have any contrax yet so I wouldn't feel too bad...

I have not had any BH or contrax at all. No progress other than a soft cervix.

Haha I don't know about a fourth tri, but I definitely think there needs to be a golden pedestal for anyone who goes over 40weeks. Pregnancy is hard enough, but overtime? Not cool!

I'm out of patience with people telling me how big he's going to be. The dr said 7 lbs right now which i know can be off and can handle that. But the way my coworkers talk you would think I'm having a 15 pounder!

Don't feel bad. This is my second pregnancy, and I've got NOTHING going on. By 36 weeks with DD, I was 4 cm and 75% effaced. I'm currently zero everything.

Luckily for me, it will all be over, on Wednesday, as I'm having a repeat c-section. However, I was hoping for a little progress, kwim?

I've got nothing. No mucus plug, not a single contraction. I had my first internal today (btw- OUCH) and NOTHING- I think even the Dr felt bad, he kept apologizing and telling me that it doesnt mean anything and labor can come really quick.

To top it off, my due date is Sept 10 and he had me schedule appts for Sep 11 and 18th. Atleast he said they won't let me go any longer than a week overdue.

I'm right there with you, having a whole lot of nothing. As of my appointment today I'm 0% effaced, not dilated and still high....and the waiting continues!

At 40 weeks I was not (and still am not) having contractions, haven't lost MP (that I know of) was 1 1/2 cm dilated and 75% effaced. If he doesn't show by Tuesday they are going in after him. Ugh!

Color yourself lucky. I've been having false labor and BH since 29 weeks and it has ONLY gotten worse and it is a pain in the arse, b/c it gets my hopes up one minute and is super uncomfortable, only to then stop.

I also have very little progress, so all these contrax are doing are pissing me off.

No contractions, I've never even had BHs. I have no clue the size of the baby or if I'm dilated or effaced because my Dr won't check that until I go overdue. I think the baby is still pretty high up as well.

yeh not much happening here either. 50% effaced, "fingertip" dilated for two weeks now, still high. Have bad back pain, could be back labor contrax but who knows? I have no clue what is going on or not going on. Just attempting to Let go and let God now.

Was 2cm and 70% last Wed. No contractions or BH up until then. I had ONE contrax Thursday night, 12:30AM, when I woke up to pee, but that's it.
