Soft Serve Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Question
So, I've heard that soft serve ice cream should not be eaten by pregnant women because that bacteria can be left in the machines even after cleaning. Is the same true for frozen yogurt??? I really hope not, but really want to know.Thanks!

I've eaten soft serve at lease once a week since finding out I was pregnant. Its the most delicious thing in the world right now!
I've been a bit more lax with this pregnancy, we had a m/c in october and for that one I didnt eat anything - no bacon, no soft serve, no caffeine, nothing, and we lost that baby, so I figured, really, its not about what you eat, whats going to happen is going to happen and you should enjoy whatever you want!
This is a new one...without it, I would have starved my first Tri.
Think about coffee pots, ice tea jugs, etc...there are bugs everywhere if you get too paranoid you find anything appetizing.
~ Miscarry at 8 weeks with D&C in May 2011 (low progesterone).
~ Had a healthy baby girl in June 2012 via C-Section (on prometrium to sustain).
~ Surprise pregnancy at age 40! Baby boy due April 26, 2021 (took prometrium to sustain once pregnancy was confirmed, 3rd C-Section planned).
They say it's because those machines are so hard to clean, bacteria is more likely to grow there . I'm not sure if I'll risk it yet or not. It's true that we can't live in a bubble for the next 8 months but I'll at least wait till I go see my doctor in September. Good luck!
