HELP!

Ok ladies! I need some serious help. I haven't been on much here lately because the LO was born. He was doing great! Until the past few days. Constant non stop crying. I talked to his dr. today and they diagnosed him with colic. He is 3 weeks old today and I don't know how much more of this I can take. Nothing helps him except holding him and keeping pressure on his little tummy. I don't get it. I am supposed to start back to work on monday part time. I just don't want to leave him with my mom and leave her dealing with a screaming crying 3 week old baby. She already watches my 10 month old nephew while my sister is at work. Not only that I am just at the end of my rope. I don't know what else to do. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!

    Have you tried bicycling his legs, wearing him in a moby or sling, warm baths, tummy sleeping?

    ?

    Unfortunately the only real cure is time, but those are some things that may help for now.?

    Have you heard about the 5 S's? If not, you might look into those and give them a try. The book is titled: Happiest Baby on the Block, and I thnk they make a DVD too.

    Colic is normal, around that age. DD would cry bloody murder too.  The gas drops or gripe water always helped. The colic got better around 5-6 weeks. Just hold your LO this too shall pass.

    Do you swaddle? Try it, that should help a bit.

    My DD did the same thing - just before 3 weeks old she she started to cry for hours each night. We tried EVERYTHING, but I truly think she had to outgrow it. ?Definitely read Happiest Baby On The Block. ?Also, running the vacuum cleaner helped DD to calm down and sleep. That was a life saver. ?I know how hard it is. ?Good Luck.?
