Wow. That was literally *nothing* compared to what I had it built up to be in my head! In the room during the procedure was my DH, the doctor, a nurse, and a medical student (I was asked if it was ok to have him in the room--they told me feel free to say no but honestly I didn't care. He stood back by my head anyway just to see the screen as the test was happening.) I can say I am SO glad DH was there though to watch as the dye was injected. I think he was in awe, as was I, of actually getting to watch it happen on the screen!
It really didn't hurt at all though--Even near the beginning before the dye went in the doctor told me I'd feel a cramp. He goes, "Did you feel that?" and I said, "...um....no?" lol. Since I've left the office though I have felt very dull aches (I wouldn't even call them cramps) in my abdomen area. I'm glad I took the Advil though! The doctor told me that, and I quote, "Your plumbing looks great!" LOL. The dye spilled out and through both tubes!! Woo hoo!!!! I'm so relieved!
Thank you for the good luck!

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
That is great! Mine wasn't so bad; I too had built it up majorly in my head. I did feel really queasy as it was happening, but that was 100% from the adrenaline and fear. Its funny, the pressure and waht not that just felt so odd to me was similar to what I felt on my internal ultrasound a few weeks later. It was all my overactive imagination.
My GF though has blocked tubes and it was quite painful for her. I'm glad I didn't have to go through that, but certainly feel for anyone who does.
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Sounds similar to my HSG. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be and I had a medical student in the room too. It was nice though because the doctor was explaining everything in detail for me and the student.
Good to hear everything went smoothly!!
