Jaycee Dugard??

Have you heard about this poor woman?  I just heard about it a few minutes ago.  Unbelievably horrible.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!

    Yup. On the news last night they said the story had a "happy ending." Ummm... years of imprisonment, having two kids (11 and 15) by her abductor who have never even been to school or the doctor. That doesn't sound like a happy ending to me. That family has some major healing to do. So sad.

    This all went down near me.  It is so sad.  I don't know how the family can ever recover.
    Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN.     Yes since it happened where I live that is all that has been on the news.  The part that makes this even worse is that a neighbor called 911 a few years ago about the tents and sheds in the backyard that she and her daughters were living in and the police just stopped by and talked to the guy but never checked in the backyard.  If they had they would have found her a while ago.

    seriously, how is she going to function? and i read she is feeling guilty because she bonded with her capture. this man was paroled from jail got out, kidnapped this girl and got away with this for 18 years, of course with the help of his wife, it's unbelievable.

    What really sucks though is that the statute of limitations have run out on a lot of the charges so they could get off easy on some things and not even be charged for other crimes.  I don't think the statute of limitations should run out if the crime is on going but I guess it does.

    I am so disturbed by this...I cannot stop reading about it...I just could never imagine living in a shed for 18 years and have gone through that torture. I hope and pray she and her girls can have a somewhat normal life after all this. So heartbreaking!

    It's sick and sad, but I am glad she is alive.  I hope the family is able to help her transition back into the real world.

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
