ugh. I'm being lapped, again.

First it was my husband's cousin, who got pregnant with #1 after we had already been trying for a year, and now she's pg w/#2.

Now, it's a local friend whose first child is 18 months old, and they're just now announcing that she's pg w/#2. She's apparently due in March, so if I actually make it to my April due date it would be fun to have kids the same age. But if not, it's going to blow.

argh. I really hate being lapped.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    I agree!  But you ARE going to make it to your April due date :)  !!! 

    I have a friend who is pregnant with number 2 as well and they started trying about 6 months after we did (for number 1)! 

    Blows.

    It does suck!!  I agree that you ARE going to make it to your April due date or at least pretty close!  And your baby is going to be the cutest one out of all of them!!  It's a proven fact that babies born to couples who struggled with infertility are just cuter and sweeter.  (Ok, so maybe I'm making that one up, but...)
    TTC #1 since 12/07 SA 9/08=borderline normal HSG 1/09 found R tube blocked Multiple IUIs both with oral and injectible drugs from 2/09-2/11 Started domestic adoption process in 5/10, homestudy complete 9/10 Failed adoption after home with baby for 2 weeks 11/10 Blessed through the miracle of private adoption with a son, born 6/6/11 (his grandma's bday) 7lbs 9oz 20.5 inches long! So worth the wait!

    I am sorry you are being lapped. I know this is it for you, it has to be. Just think how great it will be to have kids the same age. Someone to talk to, have play dates with. I am praying for you.

    Keep thinking about being due in April, and then you have an automatic playdate!!

    TTC #2 since 2011. Dx: Endometriosis and hypothyroidism. 2 FETs in 2012, BFP 6/12 but m/c @ 7 weeks. IVF #2 06/13. DD #2  born March 2014 (40w1d).

    That stinks about being lapped, but I agree w/ pp that babies of parents who struggled w/ if are cuter!!

    Totally sucks.  
    Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN.
