To be honest I thought we still had DD's old crib. But DH sold it on Craig's List a few months ago. I knew he had listed it, but never knew he had actually sold it.
Now I have been telling DH we can't wait to much longer because if we have to order it the delivery could take 6-8 weeks.
There is one particular crib that I have wanted since we first saw it in the Spring. It's a great crib, and converts into a really nice looking toddler bed and full sized bed. This is something, that if we got it, he would have until he moved out. (though we would have to hold off on the dresser until we have more money saved).
The price is reasonable, I think, for a good quality crib like this. The price is with in our budget (we never planned to get the dresser right away just the crib). But the store is quite a distance away.
I don't know if we'll just find something else we like or if we'll stick to this one. DH is sort of leaving it up to me, which is unusual.
We are going to a nice resale shop in the area before we go to the store further away. Who knows what will happen.
Anyone else not have their crib yet? It is the last large item that we need, but I feel that we are getting down to the wire.
Re: Going crib shopping today
That's so funny. We moved last week. And that was actually when I found out we didn't have a crib anymore. I was showing the movers were to put all the furniture and I said "the dresser from DD's room goes in here with the crib." His response was to look at me really startled and say "we don't got no crib". That's when DH said that he had sold it a long time ago.
Maybe we'll luck out and find what we want at the resale store. Chances are small though.
