At my last appointment (1 week ago), the RE told the staff to schedule my lap. They said they'd call me when it was scheduled.
It's now been over a week and no call (I called them yesterday to ask about it). I'm just wondering what other people's experience has been. I know they have to coordinate the OR, anesthesiologist, etc., but does it really take over a week to do it?
This is my first surgery so I'm a little anxious. Plus DH keeps asking me what day it is so he can arrange to be off from work.
Re: How long does it take to schedule a laparoscopy?
When I called, I got the receptionist, who said she would give the message to the nurses who schedule the surgery. I guess I'll wait a little longer. I'm just a little annoyed that they haven't called me back, even if it's just to say "we're still working on it, be patient".
Thanks!

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
My RE discussed it and we had it scheduled about 3 weeks later because she was going to be on vacation. I scheduled it with the RE and then they worried about getting the OR booked with the hospital and then called me back with the time. I am scheduled to have my lap on Tuesday
I wasn't required to do BCP but RE wanted to plan it around cycle day 10, not sure really why.
They usually schedule it between CD7 and 10 so that you will A) have finished your period and
not be pregnant.
I'm also not doing BCPs. Assuming everything comes together, I'll have my lap sometime around September 16.
