I went to the RE this morning for an ultrasound.  The office was busy, and I felt a little rushed so I did not get to process and ask questions.  It wasn't the RE I saw last week that I really liked. 

He said I had one follicle that was 10mm on  my right and none on my left.  He said to come back on tuesday to see if it grows.  Has anyone had that happen?  I have been off of the clomid for 5 days. 

Also, I think he measured my lining at 7.1, what it the range they look for?

Hopefully on Tuesday I will be able to ask questions, but I figured this was a knowledgeable group and a good place to start!  Thanks!

    Hi there, I presume you are doing a Clomid/Timed Intercourse cycle or are you onto IUI?  You may have more follicles than that but not of any significance size wise.  Follicles hold eggs (most of the time) and a follicle of 18mm is considered to be mature with an egg ready for release.  The hope is you have at least one follie that size when it comes time to conceive (either through TI or IUI).  That 10mm one could certainly grow.  7.1 is a good lining size IMO.  They look for it to be 8 or higher at the time of conception so that the embryo can implant.  You still have some time for it to develop.  

    I hate feeling rushed!  Sorry that you felt that way and hopefully you will have more time next week.  In the meantime, we are here!

    With an injectable cycle, it's totally normal to start with lots of small follies that get larger as the cycle progresses. I'm not sure what the timing is like with Clomid, but I would assume your follie would get bigger. My RE looks for a lining of 10 at trigger so yours sounds good to me :)

    Ditto the pp.  I have heard that follies can grow 1-2 mm per day, so that is why ou are coming back on Tuesday.  As for the lining, I think my RE likes to see at least 6, so you are good there.

    I only ever had one follicle on Clomid or Femara.

     Im doing femara (round 2) and i have the same issue.  However my lining was at 1.something.  I to had one measuring at 10 and was told to come back on tuesday as well. not sure what happens other then to wait and for me to get my ovideral injection.
