IUI #1=BFN

I started spotting on Wednesday, I was told not to worry, a lot of people do, then yesterday, it continued, but became more of a light period and today I woke up at 5:30am to see AFs ugly face. I am so sad. Now instead of going in for BETA on Saturday I'll be going in for day 3 bw, unless today is considered day 1. I don't know, this sucks, I was really optimistic about this cycle but my optimism didn't take me anywhere.

 

ETA: I'll be calling my nurse when they open, but which day do you think will be considered CD1?

    Oh no!  I'm so sorry. I know that we were all hoping it would only be the common spotting.  I'm really sorry for this huge disappointment. (((HUGS)))
    Ectopic pregnancy Aug. 2008, followed by a diagnosis of two blocked tubes.
    IVF#1 gave us a BFP on 8/24/09, DD born May 2010
    Surprise, natural BFP July 2012 ended in miscarriage 9/4/12 at 10w4d
    FET#1 January 2013

    If you have an actual flow then I think that it is CD1 but the nurse will answer your question better. Good luck this cycle.

    Started TTC in August 2007, 1st BFP March 2008, natural m/c April 11th, 2008. 2nd BFP 1/1/09, diagnosed with possible ectopic 1/16/09, got Methotrexate shot 1/18/09. On Bromocriptine to balance my high prolactin levels (thanks to tiny brain tumor) that messes with my body. Long cycles and unexplained infertility suck monkey balls! July 09- Clomid 50mg HCG shot TI prog. supps= negative. August 09- Clomid 50mg HCG shot IUI prog. supps=negative. September 09- Clomid 50mg HCG shot b2b IUI's prog. supps: negative. October 09- Clomid 100mg HCG b2b IUI's prog.supps: negative. November 09- cycle cancelled due to cyst.... IVF is next.... December 09- Beginning of IVF, Lupron, BCP's Jan-Feb 10- IVF retrieved 6 matured eggs, all fertilized, 2 transferred, 1 lost, 3 frozen= BFP! betas: 8dp5dt (13dpo)= 176, 11dp5dt (16dpo)= 728! October 2010: Boy/Girl twins born. Now... trying to get fit!

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    I'm sorry!  I just had my first IUI last month with a BFN so I know how hard it was, even though I knew the chances were small! 

    I hope this next cycle can be the one for you!!

    TTC #1 since 12/07 SA 9/08=borderline normal HSG 1/09 found R tube blocked Multiple IUIs both with oral and injectible drugs from 2/09-2/11 Started domestic adoption process in 5/10, homestudy complete 9/10 Failed adoption after home with baby for 2 weeks 11/10 Blessed through the miracle of private adoption with a son, born 6/6/11 (his grandma's bday) 7lbs 9oz 20.5 inches long! So worth the wait!

    I'm so sorry! BFNs suck. My RE says day 1 is the first day of bright red flow. I guess it would depend on how heavy the bleeding was yesterday. (((((hugs))))) to you.
