I made an appointment last week with an RE in our new city. We see him October 2nd, yay! However, I'm concerned about IVF timing and meds. I'm currently on bcp to control endo. When we met with another RE several months ago (didn't work out for various reasons), his nurse had said that I would need to be off bcp for at least three months before starting a cycle.
So, I've called the nurse at the new RE clinic to see if they agree since I know every office is different. If we wanted to cycle in November, I'd need to go off bcp now. However, I don't want to go off the bcp unless absolutely necessary since my endo is so bad and it's been 2.5 years since my last laparotomy. I'm just worried the nurse won't be able to answer my questions since I haven't been seen as a patient yet.
What do you think the chances are that the nurse will call back? Also, does anyone have any idea about the bcp question? Sorry this is such a long and rambling post! I'm just getting anxious as we get closer to possibly starting a cycle and would hate to have it delayed.
Re: What are the chances nurse will call back? (long, sorry)
