Going Back to Work Next Week - Baby Museum

I am not looking forward to going back to work to start with. I feel like the whole summer was taken up with IF treatments and I don't really have anything to show for it. The worst part is the "baby museum." In our teacher's lounge there's a board where EVERYONE puts up pictures of their babies. And even people who don't have children themselves get in on the action by putting up photos of grandchildren etc. Teachers who have moved away send photos of their babies to put up. It's the pits! That room is really the only place I can eat lunch every day. I dread having to go there again. IF sucks!

  • Ugh.  That sucks.  Too bad there isn't an alternative place to eat.

  • I totally have the same "baby museum" in my school's copier room. For years it tortured me every time I had to make a photocopy. Right now I am *finally* in a place where I can stand to look at it, as I know I'll have something to add to it finally in November. It's been over 3 years, but the time has almost come...I hope your time comes really soon too! And just think...when it does, your baby will be a million times cuter than all those other kids!!!!

    ((Hugs)) sweetie!

  • ((hugs)) sorry you have to endure that every lunch hour.
  • wow that is horrible!  Stay strong (although I'd half be tempted to rip that stuff down!!!)
  • I think I'd go eat in my car!!! Ugh, that would be tough!

  • I'm so sorry.  I would wear some blinders like they put on horses so they don't have to see anything but straight ahead!
  • Ugh, that's awful.
